The Table-Top Heat Sealer with Novaseal’s proprietary pulsing features includes 4 timers. Two Seal timers and two Cool timers. For optimal seals, turn the Timer Selector Switch to P (pulsing). Switch location M (mono) is used when the pulsing feature is not needed.
When the machine is in
the Pulsing mode, the first SEAL timer (upper left) is activated first, then the first COOL timer (lower left) is activated, then the second SEAL timer (upper right), and then second COOL timer (lower right). The process is automatic, however, as the operator, you input the times each timer uses to measure a specific cycle. SEAL1, COOL1, SEAL2 timers are pre-scaled for time measured in seconds. COOL2 timer is pre-scaled for time measured in minutes. COOL2 time is usually the longest time. If this timer is set for too short a time, then the sealed materials may tend to separate when the upper sealing bar retracts to the upper (OPEN) position. Click on any of the timers shown above for details.
