Plunger Screen.  This screen allows you to operate the Plungers.  By the Plungers are the pneumatically controlled rods that are used to hold down material prior to heat sealing the materials.  Each plunger has a soft rubber tip that applies firm pressure against the material.  With Two Operators, the operator on the right side of the machine can operate “Plunger-Right” by pressing center control button on the right side of the machine. 

The example illustrated in this screen shows the center plunger activated (down position).  To activate plungers simply touch the screen on the name above the radial button.  So, to activate Center plunger, touch the word “Center”.  To deactivate Center plunger, touch the word “Center” again.  The radial button fills in when the respective plunger is activated.  Plungers can be activated in any order, and the Left Plunger is the Plunger nearest the left end of the machine.

All Plungers can be activated at the same time by touching “SET ALL”; and conversely, all Plungers can be deactivated at the same time by touching “RESET ALL.”

After the heat sealing process is completed, all Plungers are automatically reset to their upper position.  The delay (in seconds) that the Plungers return to the upper position can be changed by through the Setup menu.  To get there, go to Main Menu, then select Setup menu.
