PLC/HMI Programming/Operations

The 7-Meter Pulse Sealer is controlled using a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).  The PLC is the “brains” of the machine and is located inside the Control Box of the machine.  To communicate with the PLC, there is a black & white touchscreen HMI (Human Machine Interface).  Touching the screen will input commands.  The PLC includes user defined parameters and machine coded parameters and software.  Accessing the PLC via the HMI interface touchscreen keeps you within the terms of Novaseal’s warranty.  In other words, the HMI can not be used to access machine coded parameters or software.  The variables/parameters you can modify using the HMI interface touchscreen include

1. Entering/modifying machine cycle times including heating and cooling times for various materials.
2. Editing materials with user defined parameters.
3. Activating Plungers and modifying Plunger delay time.
4. Confirming selection on whether machine will be operated by One Operator (positioned on left side of machine) or Two Operators (positioned on left and right side of machine).
5. Modifying Heat Sealing Modes ... Top & Bottom (Default), Top Only, or Bottom Only
6. Novaseal Contact Information.
