Material Specification Screen. By selecting “Material F”, the “Material F” screen appears. The preset values for “Material F” are shown.
From this screen you can rename Material F by touching “Material F” on the top of this screen. “Material F” will appear on the top of another screen with an alphabet below it. Cursor (abbreviated “Cur” on the screen) appears under the first letter. Locate the DEL (delete) key to erase “MATERIAL F”. Next, type in an alpha/numeric representation for this material. When set, touch ENT to enter the data.
Also from this screen, you can change the parameter or values for each variable. For example, to change PLS 1 from 25 tenths (2.5 seconds) to, say 3 seconds, touch the “25” on the screen, and a key pad will appear. Start by cleaning the existing value by touching CLR (clear) on the screen. Next enter the digits correlating to the parameter value you would like to enter in tenths of a second. So, in this example, touch the “3” and the “0” for a total of 30 tenths or 3 seconds. When the value entered is correct, touch ENT to enter the data. By the way, CAN is cancel and when touched will remove you from data entry screen.
Repeat the same process for each variable you decide to change, then touch SET to save the information to a specific material.
Note: The keypad shows a symbol, +/-. This function is useless because all values entered must be positive.
