Set-up the Machine. First make sure all air hoses are connected on the machine. Next, attach your compressor to the machine. Use a female quick release fitting to attach your compressor to the machine. See photo to the left and note that the intake air valve is located to the left of the Filter.
Air direction is through the Filter to two regulators. Left regulator is used to adjust air pressure going to Rockers. Right regulator is used to adjust air pressure going to Sealing Press.
Optimal setting for Rocker is 100 PSI; and setting for Sealing Press is 60 PSI.
After compressed air is connected, the Upper Sealing Bar will slowly move into the upper position (open). The first time this happens, remove cable ties.
On the right side of the machine is the Safety Switch. A Safety Switch is used to properly connect the machine to Power Source. For poper service, please provide at least 30 Amps at 220 VAC.
Before attaching power connections to the Safety Switch, please make sure that the red handle to the right of the Safety Switch is in the DOWN or OFF position. (Note the photo shows switch in the ON position.)
After the Safety Switch is placed in the OFF or DOWN position, you may open the Safety Switch. The opening latch is located on the bottom of the Safety Switch enclosure.
Your incoming power cable should be a 3-conductor wire. Standard wire color codes for 220/240 VAC is Black (Line 1), White (Line 2) and Green (Ground).
Feed your 3-conductor wire through the center BX conduit connector, and attach Black wire to Left Post; White wire to Right Post; and Green wire to Green or Ground Post on the top side or exit side of the Safety Switch.
Adjust the height of the machine. Adjustable height pedestal feet are located along the bottom of the Machine.
Pedestal feet located in the aluminum channel consist of two nuts, one below and one above the channel. Loosen and tighten to adjust height. Pedestal feet located on the ends are adjusted by turning the pedestal clockwise (decreasing the height) or counter clockwise (increasing the height).
